This Education Pack is based on an excavation that took place in 2017 at the site of the ancient church of All Hallows, Inchinnan, Renfrew. This multi-media project involved excavation, geophysics, photography and historical research and the results have been made available in this Education Pack for Primary Schools. As part of our project, model maker Sue Furness made clay models of the medieval church using air drying clay.You can try this with your class too, using Sue’s instructions below.You may want to involve your school art teacher to lead this project.

TOPIC 20: STAINED GLASS

The following slides contain watercolour drawings of the stained glass windows commissioned for the church at All Hallows in the early 20th Century. Some of the pages have modern photographs of the same window design. These are the windows which survived the demolition of All Hallows and were installed in the new Inchinnan Parish Church
