The group was formed in 2012.  The first major project “Inchinnan Farmlands to Erskine Community” was completed in 2014 and can be viewed on the group’s YouTube page Inchinnan Historical Interest Group (click videos), historypin.org and in the projects section of this website.

Other projects such as Inchinnan’s First World War memorial have also been completed.

At present the group is concentrating on All Hallows. The archaeologist Dr Heather James of Calluna Archaeology and Inchinnan Historical Interest Group have teamed up to carry out the project.

A warm welcome is extended to everybody with an interest in local history and meeting with like minded people. We hope to increase our membership this year building on our successes.

Invaluable volunteers!
