The group was formed in 2012.  The first major project “Inchinnan Farmlands to Erskine Community” was completed in 2014 and can be viewed on the group’s YouTube page Inchinnan Historical Interest Group (click videos), historypin.org and in the projects section of this website.

Other projects such as Inchinnan’s First World War memorial have also been completed.

As documented on this site, our largest project to date ‘597AD St Conval to All Hallows -1420 Years and counting in Inchinnan’ commenced in 2017.  We completed an archaeological dig at the former site of Inchinnan Church involving hundreds of members of the local community.  We are making plans to revisit this in the near future.

A warm welcome is extended to everybody with an interest in local history and meeting with like minded people. We hope to increase our membership this year building on our successes.
